Artist's Statement
Philip was born in Wexford in 1957. He graduated at I. T. Carlow (Wexford Campus) in 2012, with a B. A. (Hons) Degree in Art. Philip has a keen interest in the
ways that light and shade can create mood and atmosphere, and he has been reflecting this in his work. Most recently in his landscape paintings, he has concentrated on seasonal transition, and the associated natural dynamics which accompany these changes. Philip's latest paintings are representative of scenery both local to Wexford and countrywide.
